HOW TO for frozen Sourdough Cinna Rolls

🌀 How to Bake Frozen Raw Sourdough Cinna Rolls

YOU HAVE OPTIONS!

Freezer to Oven:

  • 🧊 Remove from Freezer: Take rolls out of the freezer (the whole pan or singles)

  • 🔥 Preheat Oven: Set your oven to 375°F.

  • 🍥 Optional: Add a splash of heavy cream over the rolls for extra gooeyness. (when you get this baked from us this is how we do it)
  • ⏱️ Bake Time: Place in the preheated oven and bake for 25–30 minutes, or until golden brown on top.

Morning of Baking:

  • 🌡️ Room Temperature Rise: In the morning, place rolls in a warm spot (away from direct heat) for 1–2 hours to defrost slightly. 

  • 🔥 Preheat Oven: Set your oven to 350°F.

  • 🍥 Optional: Add a splash of heavy cream over the rolls for extra gooeyness. (when you get this baked from us this is how we do it)

  • ⏱️ Bake Time: Place in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown on top.

FOR EITHER BAKE:

  • ❄️ Check Center: If they seem doughy in the middle, loosely cover with foil and bake an extra 5–10 minutes.

  • REMINDER: every oven is different so times may vary. We prefer to bake these with convection OFF so just a standard bake (it keeps them softer).

Finishing Touch:

  • ❄️ Cool Slightly: Let cool for about 10 minutes before icing.

  • 🍯 Add Icing: Drizzle your favorite glaze or cream cheese frosting while warm and enjoy!
